Layers and layers of encaustic (bees wax & damar resin), natural fiber paper, ink, oil, and gesso on .75" cradled wood panel.
There are occasional stray yummy wax drips on the sides which are painted a soft gray - this piece is ready to hang! There is no hanging wire - these panels easily hang with two push pins or small nails.
